Backend Engineer
Build scalable infrastructure and APIs that power our AI-driven platform. Work with modern cloud technologies and distributed systems to create reliable, secure, and performant backend services that handle millions of interactions.
What You'll Do
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Build scalable data processing pipelines for business data and AI model outputs
Develop secure authentication and authorization systems
Optimize database performance and implement effective caching strategies
Build monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production services
Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy and scale machine learning models
Implement security best practices and ensure data privacy compliance
What We're Looking For
4+ years of experience in backend software development
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and data modeling
Experience with API design, testing, and documentation
Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Bonus Points
Experience with social media platform API integrations
Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven architecture
Experience with data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Airflow)
Understanding of ML model deployment and serving infrastructure
Experience with security frameworks and compliance requirements (SOC 2, GDPR)
